Alpaca Niagara is proud to provide the following services:

Stud Services
Our policy is to breed only to the best males available. We currently own three top quality herdires... see Machos for a listing. Every year we make one or two additional males (unrelated genetics) available for stud services. This group includes some to the top males in North America.

Boarding
Boarding is free for six months for animals purchased at AON. Boarding may be arranged for additional periods at the rate of $2.50 per day. Alpacas not sold through AON may be boarded at a rate of $3.00 per day.

Fiber Services
AON will assist customers in the evaluation of fiber by providing hands-on instruction. An annual cooperative shearing day is made available at AON for all clients in the area.

Birthing
Birthing instruction is provided as part of the sales transaction. Birthing services may be arranged with AON for a flat fee of $195.00.

Cooperatives
AON has taken the lead in forming cooperative purchases of forage feed and shearing. Customers may contact us for details.

Halter Training
All animals sold by AON are halter trained as part of the sales package. Arrangements can be made to train animals boarding at AON for a flat fee of $100.00.

Financing

Alpacas of Niagara offers complete financing services to all its customers. Currently we will finance up to 90% of the sales price at 7% interest for a period of up to 60 months. First time buyers are entitled to 20% one time discounts on the purchase of two or more breeding animals.

Show Training
AON provides show training for its clients at a flat rate of $200.00 per animal and reserves the right to withdraw this offer pending an evaluation of the animals’ temperament. If AON accepts the animal for training it makes no guarantees for performance in the show ring.

Animal Health
AON works closely with Dr. Jean Feldman, the first camelid vet in the Western New York area, to maintain the highest level of herd health. Our herd is TB free and BVD negative. All boarders are required to provide proof of negative BVD and are kept in separate areas to maintain optimal health. Since hygiene is the single most important aspect of preventing disease, we ensure clean facilities and keep animals in small groupings.

Comprehensive Support
Alpacas of Niagara has assisted many new farms get started in the alpaca business with the belief that their success and our success are complimentary. With this in mind we will provide whatever assistance is needed for the new breeder to become successful. It is important for potential new breeders to discuss this with our clients.
